It might be unreasonable to expect a guy who rose to fame on Toot It and Boot It , whose body of work is rife with vengeful pith like Bitch Betta Have My Money and Youzza Flip , to care about his bedside manner-but he makes inroads. My Krazy Lifes most engaging relationship song is familial: Sorry Momma closes the album with an apology to YGs mom for a laundry list of petty misdeeds and a pledge to do better by her now that hes rich and shes not doing so well. My Krazy Life closes with YG sending his regards to his mother on Sorry Momma. The apology doesnt feel as believable it sounds more like Im sorry I got caught given how quickly the plotline suddenly resolves itself with a trip to jail. This is only in context, however when played by itself, the sincerity of lines like, Sorry momma, I know I aint shit isnt lost on the listener. YG My Krazy Life. by Michael Madden. on March 19, 2014, 12:00am. The ominous faux mugshot on the album cover antagonizes YG from the jump. We know hes from a mad city, but the good-kid label is a little scratchy on him. Im the nigga who got homies that be sellin drugs, he raps on the Drake collaboration Who Do You Love , and the implied question is whether it means nothing to just hang out with miscreants. Anyhow, with YGs Blood and Tree-Top Piru affiliations, red is everywhere, and no one makes the slightest move for his white flag. My Krazy Life dampens many of its heavy questions with refreshing musical forms
