Notes

Musical Heritage Society Club reissue of material licensed from, and originally released by, Varèse Sarabande on both a 1985 CD (VCD 47219), as well as part of two previous LP configurations (VCDM 1000.150 in its entirety for the Joaquín Rodrigo pieces, and 704.110 in part for the Manuel De Falla piece!), all featuring Soundstream digital recordings from 1980-81, recorded by the Orquesta Sinfonica Del Estado De Mexico and featured soloists under the baton of Enrique Batiz. The packaging features an eight-page booklet with track listings; uncredited liner notes about the featured selections, composers, conductor, and soloists; movement titles and text for "El Amor Brujo" in both Spanish and English; and a black-and-white photo of the conductor on the front cover.

"El Amor Brujo" was recorded direct to two-channel Soundstream digital in the Sala Nezahualcóyotl Hall, Mexico City, on February 15, 1981; the Rodrigo concerti were digitally recorded in the same hall on February 20, 1980.

Total Time: 71:30

The movement titles for Track 9 are present only in the booklet, which has been used as the source for the sub-tracks for index track 9 in the Tracklisting section. (Also, sub-tracks 9.6 and 9.10 are spelled incorrectly within said booklet -- using the wrong accent mark, and missing an accent mark, respectively! -- and both have been corrected here as per [g1.7.3.] & [g1.7.4.])
