No strangers to Sinden’s imprint, the duo remixed Brenmar’s ‘Let Me Know (Tasting)’ for the label, lauded by XLR8R as an "…upfront garage rhythm, thick basslines, steppy snares, and a R&B feel that's surprisingly UK in flavour."

5kinandbone5 started out helming production for the likes of YG, Mistah FAB, Ty$, Izza Kizza, Elephant Man, 88-Keys, The Morning Benders and many more. They also produce as Amen Brother, demonstrating their multi-facted abilities on a 12" vinyl Scion-AV remix release. The duo have also collaborated with a plethora of producers, melding genres with the likes of Distal, Dubbel Dutch, Star Eyes, Jess Jubilee and Babe Rainbow.

“5kinandbone5 and myself met randomly on Facebook when they hit up my wall. I got back in touch intrigued that 2 producers making beats for Def Jam rapper YG would reach out. Their music tastes surpass just rap and we soon got talking about techno and UK garage. After some corresponding I decided that Grizzly would embark on our first rap release. I picked out 2 tracks from a bunch of next level productions and he we are, with the blessing of Def Jam, 5kinandbone5's debut release featuring YG and TY$. Add into the mix the legendary Bernie Worrell from Parliament playing keys and trombonist, Fred Wesley, best known for his work with James Brown and you got something extra wild!

Of all the tracks I was sent by the guys ‘Stomp’ leapt out the most. A real lesson in minimalism with some menacing bass lines until the rolling funk breakbeats come in for 8 bars. YG has been on a roll this year and just destroys this one out the park. We invited the UK's Little Dee to jump aboard on the remix and he obliges by nailing his verse!

‘Pop Painkillaz’ is one for the jeeps and topless cars when the sun is beating down on a lazy day. Jazz and funk heroes Worrell and Wesley get the track charged with some live instrumentation before YG enters, taking it to the soul dripped chorus. ‘Painkillaz’ is a nice flip to ‘Stomp’ displaying another side to 5kinandbone5's vast production talents. I'm really excited about these guys, they're about to get you open!”
